Is Treatment for You?

Having all of the well-validated fertility treatment options in one place can help increase your chance of success and potentially reduce your time in care. While you certainly could Google information on infertility, IVF, artificial insemination, and genetic testing, you may miss some of the context that our fertility specialists are able to provide. The more information, resources, and support that you have will help you make better informed decisions with your plan of care. As leaders in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, RMA of Philadelphia can offer unique insights to help you take control of building your family.

If you’re having trouble getting pregnant or staying pregnant, you’re not alone. More than seven million men and women in the US struggle with infertility—about 12% of people of reproductive age. 2/3 of cases can be attributed to a problem specific to a male or female partner—in about 1/3 of cases, the cause of infertility cannot be determined. However, age remains our biggest obstacle to success.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommends seeing a fertility specialist, often known as a reproductive endocrinologist, if you are under age 35 and unable to get pregnant after trying for 12 months. If you’re over 35 and have been trying without success for 6 months,  it may be time for some answers. RMA of Philadelphia will work closely with you to present effective fertility treatment options.
